Clean Oil Is Cheap Insurance For Your Engine

We handle oil change service for any motor, whether it is a four stroke outboard, a MerCruiser or Volvo Penta sterndrive, or an inboard engine. Every oil change includes a fresh filter, the correct fluid weight and type for your specific engine, and a check for metal in the old oil that can point to a bigger problem developing.

Regular oil changes are one of the simplest ways to protect a marine engine, since oil breaks down faster under the heat and load of running on the water than it does in a car.

What We Service

Oil Changes For Every Type Of Engine

Outboard Oil Changes

Four stroke outboard oil and filter service, using the manufacturer specified oil weight for your engine and horsepower.

Sterndrive And Inboard Oil Changes

Engine oil service for MerCruiser, Volvo Penta, and inboard applications, including proper disposal of the old oil and filter.

Lower Unit Gear Lube

We drain and refill lower unit gear lube and check the fluid for water intrusion, a common early sign of a failing seal.

Oil Analysis And Inspection

We inspect drained oil for metal particles, discoloration, or a milky appearance that can point to a developing engine issue.

Our Process

How Our Oil Change Service Works

1

Drain And Inspect

We drain the old oil while the engine is warm for a full drain, and inspect it for metal, water, or discoloration.

2

Filter Replacement

The oil filter is replaced with the correct manufacturer specified part, seated and torqued properly to avoid leaks.

3

Fresh Oil And Lube Fill

We fill the engine with fresh oil to the correct level and weight, and service the lower unit gear lube at the same time.

4

Leak Check And Test Run

The engine is run and checked for leaks around the filter and drain plug before your boat leaves our shop.
